Oh joy of joys, it has begun! Seriously, I am so psyched that they started the deck-well, kinda. Today, Caesar came with the bobcat and started digging out the area for our patio underneath the deck. Our deck guy, Steve Sweeney, left us a message saying that not only would they be doing the excavation today, but that there would be a wood drop off sometime today, as well. They will be starting the building of the actual deck on Monday. While Steve and I have been excited about getting it all going, Michael has continually worried that our deck and patio would make his swingset playground disappear.
